Effective Conference Presentations
This is an announcement for a seminar on how to prepare and deliver an effective presentation. This seminar is divided into three parts:
- Part I: The Slides., In this part,some important points to consider when preparing your slides are discussed..
- Part II: Aurora and the Beamer Class. In this part, Aurora is introduced as a package that may be used to incorporate LaTeX equations into your PowerPoint, and a short "Jumpstart" introduction is given to the Beamer Class for a full LaTeX presentation..
- Part II: The Talk. In this third and last part, some important things are discussed that should be considered in the oral presentation.
When: November 14, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Prerequisites: None.
