Reseach overview: My general interests lie in mathematical models in physics,
engineering, and biology, and computational methods to analyze the models.
My research in mathematical biology includes
the human inner ear, the blood circulation including
heart and vessel, the inextensible vesicle, and DNA folding.
I am also working on the interaction between a fluid and a thin immersed
elastic material and multi-phase fluids.
