  Research

Texture Analysis
This aims to model a texture introducing a notion of texton.

Texture Segmentation
This aims to develop a segmentation algorithm based on texture descriptors.

Surface Reconstruction
This aims to develop a algorithm for reconstructing a surface using partial geometric information in Level set framework.

Shape Statistic
This aims to develop first-order and second-order statistics from an ensemble of shapes.

Shape Analysis
This aims to develop a shape descriptor that is characteristic with respect to geometrical properties of shape and is robust with respect to noise.

Digital Mammography
This aims to develop a Computer-Aided Diagnosis system in the diagnosis of breast cancer based on mammograms. This involves segmentation, classification, and registration problems.

Fragment-based Recognition
This aims to extract informative patches (fragments) from a set of images for recognition.
